This San Carlos Tudor presented a series of irregular angles and constrained spaces that limited both flow and functionality. Our approach focused on reworking the interior architecture—squaring the envelope, refining the floor plan, and selectively expanding key areas to support a more intuitive, livable layout. The kitchen was reimagined and enlarged, complemented by the addition of a walk-in pantry and a more functional laundry room, while ceiling heights and openings were adjusted to bring greater light and volume into the home.
Throughout the project, we provided permit drawings, material selections and furnishings, design direction during construction, and full procurement management to ensure continuity from concept through completion. Every intervention was carefully considered to honor the home’s Tudor character while introducing a more modern sensibility—balancing proportion, light, and materiality to create a space that feels both grounded and quietly refined.
